On behalf of one of our clients, a key player in their sector, we are currently seeking a talented Financial Reporting Officer to join their dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional passionate about data-driven insights and enhancing financial transparency. You will play a pivotal role in the Financial Sustainability Control Division, focusing on the comprehensive analysis of revenues, costs, and profitability to support strategic decision-making.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Reporting Officer, you will be entrusted with transforming financial data into clear, actionable intelligence. Your primary duties will include:

  • Spearhead the creation of in-depth financial sustainability reports, providing detailed analysis of revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability across all business lines.

  • Analyze financial data to identify key trends, variances, and their impact on the P&L, translating complex data into actionable insights for management.

  • Continuously improve and maintain reporting procedures and documentation, ensuring they are accurate, efficient, and aligned with current best practices.

  • Develop and implement robust detective controls to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting.

  • Produce timely and insightful financial performance reports for senior management to support strategic initiatives.

  • Actively contribute to projects aimed at automating and streamlining financial reporting processes, enhancing overall team efficiency and accuracy.

Your Profile & Strengths

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with a proactive mindset and a passion for excellence.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • A university degree (Master's preferred) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in financial control, audit, financial analysis, or a similar role.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Full professional fluency in English (both written and spoken).

  • Strong analytical capabilities with an exceptional eye for detail.

  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A proactive and autonomous individual, capable of managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.

  • A structured thinker who combines discipline with creativity to solve problems effectively.

Desirable Assets:

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a significant advantage.

  • Knowledge of another official EU language would be a plus.
