Senior Tax Compliance Officer

Given the ongoing development of AIS, we are currently recruiting:

Senior Tax Compliance Officer (m/f)

Your role:

  • Complete the relevant forms to reclaim the withholding tax unduly levied and ensure the collect of the relevant documentation in respect to the filing of the reclaims within required deadlines;
  • Being in contact with local offices in Luxembourg and across the world, Tax authorities, custodians, sub-custodians, clients as required to ensure accurate and timely processing of tax reclaim;
  • Ensure the follow-up of the tax reclaims filed, the recovery process and follow up refund on behalf of clients;
  • Report on a regular basis to our clients on the progress of the reclaims;
  • And provide reporting assistance for multinational and local clients in the specific field of FATCA, CRS and QI.

Your profile:

  • You have an University degree in economics, management or law, with a major in tax legislation and taxation;
  • Alternatively, you have at least 3 years of experience ideally within the tax department of an audit/tax firm or the tax/Back-office securities department of a bank with a focus on operational taxes, withholding tax reclaims, tax reporting;
  • Ideally you have a knowledge on FATCA, CRS, and/or QI;
  • You are familiar with taxation of financial instruments and tax rules related to individuals (France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg);
  • You have strong analytical skills and you have previously worked on project management;
  • You are supportive of the use of technology;
  • You enjoy working in teams and look for an open-minded and friendly environment;
  • You speak French and English fluently. Knowledge of German would be an asset.
