CAMO Systems Engineer

Based in Luxembourg, Jetfly Aviation is the fractional ownership arm of the Jetfly Group. We operate a fleet of 70 Pilatus aircraft (PC-12 and PC-24), along with the Cirrus SF50, combining Swiss precision and exceptional service to deliver a refined private flying experience,  exclusively for over 450 co-owners across Europe.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our CAMO team in Luxembourg. Reporting directly to the CAMO Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued airworthiness, safety, and optimal performance of a fleet of business jets. In this role, you will focus primarily on landing gear and aircraft systems, managing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, guaranteeing full regulatory compliance, and delivering technical expertise and support. This is a key position in maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and client service in a premium aviation environment.

Job description

REGULATORY & DOCUMENTATION

  • Analyse technical documentation arising (AD, SB, SL, STCs, Repairs,…) in accordance with applicable regulation.
  • Maintain accurate records of modifications, inspections, and repairs; ensure traceability and audit readiness.
  • Create, monitor and update our Aircraft Maintenance Programs and Operator Maintenance Programs.
  • Define and control the configuration status for ATA which are under the responsibility of the engineer.

 

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  • Trouble shooting support for Maintenance Control Centre (MCC).
  • Provide Specialized support to MRO during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities performed on Jetfly's fleet.
  • Act as focal point for all technical queries raised by Jetfly to our OEM.
  • Acceptance of work scopes during repairs at internal/external repair stations.

FLEET OPTIMIZATION

  • Play a key role in enhancing fleet reliability by actively collaborating within the CAMO organization and OEMs on strategic improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex projects, including aircraft phase -in/phase-out, aging fleet initiatives, and reliability-focused campaigns.

PROJECT & FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT

  • Financial, Risk and Implementation feasibility assessment of the different technical solutions available and recommendation to the management.
  • Support procurement and contract negotiations, with focus on cost optimization.
  • Take active part in the continuous improvement process within Jetfly and keep high level of technical awareness within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Introduction and development of new procedures, processes and tools for the area of responsibility.

 

Profile

  • Engineering degree in a technical discipline (e.g: aerospace technology, mechanical, electrical) or similar technical background as a B1.1 or B2.
  • Previous experience and expertise within the aviation industry.
  • Good knowledge of a Part 145 & CAMO internal processes.
  • Good knowledge on EASA Part M Subpart G & Part CAMO requirements
  • Familiarity with AMMS software is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database queries and reporting is a plus.
  • Experience in Technical Publication Management and Project Management.
  • Skilled in communication, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration
  • .Proficiency in English is mandatory; fluency in French is a strong asset.
  • Self-driven, well-organized, and quality-focused professional with strong interpersonal skills, cost awareness, and the flexibility to adapt across teams, manage shifting priorities under pressure, and support occasional travel or on-call duties when needed.
